Small Town Swing

On the steps of City Hall in the neighboring town of Talent, Michael's wife, Jessica, opens a midsummer eve's concert with song and veiled dance.

The stage, situated several tens of feet from the city's newly remodeled train depot, fills with the movement and melody of this region's famed (California) transplants.

Who among us, seated to sway in the tune-filled breeze, can claim to be native? How long before we all call Oregon home?
